Thanks for the suggestion. I'll pass it on to the development team for consideration. 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Any news on the status of LaTeX rendering in wetpaint? It's a must in science, and I am a bit disappointed to realize that it is not realized here yet. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Have you tried any of the free LaTex image generators?

"i think we all use HTML alot more than LaTex"
I am not sure who "we" are in your statement. Clearly, it is not physicists and mathematicians, who use LaTex all the time. We have to prepare all our papers in LaTex. Working together with people online on a project requires using LaTex. Image conversion is an extremely poor solution, as it means a big hassle when going from the wiki stage to the actual manuscript. Too bad that you guys are not willing to change anything since the first requests in 2006 (!). If it is technically not feasible with your engine, well then say so - just repeating the good old "use html" or "use image conversion" really is not helpful.

I agree with you, image conversion is not a good way. Do you find this valuable?

I concur. I wanted to use wetpaint for a discussion group on Maple, but without LaTex it's too cumbersome. I'll have to try another wiki engine.
