Canceled Account Ban Breaking.

____I have someone who keeps cancelling his account to avoid a ban (an admin from another site who’s been causing trouble at my site). He refuses to stay signed in long enough to get banned so I can not kick him out permanently. I don’t know what else to do about this…

You should be able to ban them even if they cancelled their membership. If they continue to do this, I would suggest asking Jeremy to IP Ban him from your site.

we reported this bug 100 times but it never get fixed.You can ban a cancelled account, but it does not work. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jeremy, if you look at the updates page at his Survivalist101 site, it is clearly indicated that DevilNuts (the person whom he is trying to ban) actually only joined his site once and only for ten minutes. He didn't post anything, and I doubt he sent any PM's while he was there.AJR is simply acting out of spite because he's no longer welcome at the Zombie Survival and Defense Wiki (the community in which DevilNuts is an administrator), having been removed from the staff there two years ago - and for good reason. Since then, he's done everything in his power to harm our community, including blackmail-like threats concerning certain staff members; there is proof of this on his Survivalist101 site. As an impartial third party member, I hope that you consider investigating the matter fully before issuing any permanent punishments. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
