Adding Friends As they Join?

So i went to a site and noticed that as soon as i joined, i was the creators and another person's friend. i made my site, and i cant figure out how to set that up. how? Do you find this valuable?

If the members are on your site already, the list is automatically updated to show that they are your friends. If they are not a part of your site, they will not show up on your friends list. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hmm... I don't know. I manually do it; click "Add as Friend" as soon as I see them joining... Do you find this valuable?

but im the creator and they arent my friends right away, i still have to add them as friend and have them accept it... Do you find this valuable?

As far as I know, there is no way to have new members (or any members) automatically added as your friends. I think each friend must be individually and manually added (and accepted), and that's probably what the people on the site you joined did.
I'm not 100% sure on this, but still... my 2 cents. Do you find this valuable?

Here is what I know:
If you are friends with, let's say, ShadowMLB...here on Wetpaint Central. If he is a member of another site, let's say, NarutoFan1010, and you join it, he is your friend on there too.

In simpler terms, if you are friends with someone on one site, and they are members of another when you join, you automatically become friends on that site. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
