The "Null" Page?
Sep 17 2010, 3:30 PM EDT
A page has appeared on my site titled "null". When looked on the pages history it said that one of my moderators had created the page, but when I asked them her about it she said she didn't create it and it had just suddenly appeared one day. Whenever someone posts a thread in the Discussion Forum in ends up appearing on the null page for some reason, even if the page is deleted. Is this just a new feature on Wetpaint sites for threads to go, or is my site just being odd? And if I rename the page will threads posted in the Discussion Forum still go to this page? I'm just curious, this page has really confused me. Do you find this valuable? |

I had a null page at my wiki, but I thought my admin created that page, I'll ask him. Do you find this valuable? |

"I think it is a bug, and if you rename the page the new threads will not automatically start from that page anymore.Fermi found out that if you re-name it, the threads will no longer go to that page. I would avoid using the name: Null for any pages. Do you find this valuable? |

Okay, I will rename it. But that still doesn't explain how it got their. Unless the moderator I asked is lying, which I highly doubt, the null page appeared by itself and put a random moderator as the creator of the page in its page history.

"Renaming the page worked, thank you!"rename the page settle the problem in the discussion forum, ( and I did this) but the problem still exist, before when you click in the "discussion Forum " that was the name of the page before became "null" you arrive in the page with all the tread in the wiki and not in an uncategorized page i think that the bug still exist Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, I don't know what's up with that Bug. I'll message Jeremy, but only after they've fixed 'My Sites'. That's priority at the moment.Maxwilly Do you find this valuable? |
