Tagging Limits

I see that you recommend limiting the number of tags for a page, but I have a reason for wanting to use (ahem) more than a few tags on my "home" page.

That said, I would really like to know, from a technical perspective, if there is a hard limit to the number of tags I can add to a page.

FWIW, I find that for some pieces of data I may want to add a good number of tags because I just might not remember exactly how I tagged something later and want to still be able to find it. If that makes sense. Do you find this valuable?

I actually have the same question, and I have been wondering for a while now. Less makes it more effective? But it seems difficult to limit for a site with so many different things going on, unsure how to explain it though... 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
