"For everyone complaining about why Wetpaint 500 and Golden Paint Can Awards was taken away... I think I know why.

I was a part of a site who really wanted a Golden Paint Can, and they wanted to be WCC2 (Warrior Cat Clans 2) and be #1 in the top 500.

Well.. When WCC2 got a Golden paint Can and still held the rank of #1 while we didn't get anything and dropped down from #13 to #23, things went insane. Everybody on the site was making a bunch of hate threads and cursing out WCC2. I was the only one who stayed silent. I even got a few PMs from people that said "Maybe we should join that stupid site, and then when they trust us as admins, we'll hack the site and ban everyone and make it private! What do you think, Batty?" just because of that. (Don't worry, I didn't listen to them... Hacking is WRONG, as Lex Luthor would say)

Point is.. Wetpain 500 and Golden Paint Can Awards was taken down because of all the fighting and flame wars... Everybody trying to make their sites better just because they wanted the #1 spot.. And really.. Winning doesn't matter. That is probably why.. Because people got REALLY fired up in this competition, so they started FIGHTING for the #1 spot until it became really bad... So that's probably why.

Also, there are not enough wetpaint staff members to keep up with it."
