Make Use of Old Sites!

I have an idea for a feature that would help Wetpaint greatly. Quite simple - Not only would it save LOADS of time for Jeremy and anybody else in product support, but it would save a load of Server space and essentially 'recycle' websites.

What you do: You make a new database for inactive sites. then, set it so that after All the Moderators, Admins and Creators of the site have been inactive for more than 6 Months, the Wiki is put into this new database of Inactive sites.

If you still don't see what I'm getting at,
Users can browse Through this database, and see if there is a site with a domain or content that they would like to use. If they come across one, there could be a button saying 'Adopt this Inactive Site' instead of emailing Jeremy. They click this button, and they are instantly promoted to Admin. The wiki is then taken OUT of the Inactive database, and put back into the normal one. Nobody else will be able to adopt it unless the site goes inactive again.

Using this tactic, we can make much more use of Wetpaint sites that have been inactive. This has been my goal since I joined - Like Globabl Warming on the internet. That's why I go around wetpaint sites and bring them back to the best of my ability.

Even though this is a long suggestion, and may be very hard to implement, it would make me a happy person and I would then be able to achieve my goal of bringing back dead sites.
Do you find this valuable?

Make note that it is not my only goal. I'm working on a project that should help many users of Wetpaint stay protected from viruses, and it would also make them immune to certain problems with Wetpaint. Do you find this valuable?
