RE: DEFINITELY HTML EDITING!!!
Apr 23 2007, 2:10 PM EDT Wetpaint does not currently support HTML editing. In order to make it easy for anyone to create a site Wetpaint uses a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface. There is an indent function available on the EasyEdit toolbar. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 22 2007, 10:00 PM EDT "with html editing, you can basically do anything you want with a website. Background music, applets, JavaScript, DHTML, you name it..."I would use JavaScript, and HTML for My Homepage, and a couple others, and that is it. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It takes a while just "re-form" the shape of the document. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: DEFINITELY HTML EDITING!!!
Jun 23 2007, 11:42 PM EDT That's because when you copy from Word, you're copying much, much more than just the text that's on the page. Notepad works great. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 20 2007, 6:18 PM EDT "Wetpaint does not currently support HTML editing. In order to make it easy for anyone to create a site Wetpaint uses a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface. There is an indent function available on the EasyEdit toolbar."The main reason I chose Wetpaint is BECAUSE it is easy to use and requires no HTML - from site creators or contributors. There are plenty of hosting possibilities for those who want to use HTML, CSS, etc. I hope Wetpaint's developers will keep their focus on continuing to improve its ease-of-use for those who want to maximize the web's potential for effortless collaboration and are willing to give up a few bells and whistles in order to do so. For me, adding HTML support to Wetpaint, while nice for those who would use it, should be relatively low on the priority list of future enhancements. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: DEFINITELY HTML EDITING!!!
Jul 26 2007, 3:10 PM EDT If somehow Wetpaint could put the HTML in and we could choose to use it or not then that would still be Good. What I'm trying to say is If you are an Experienced Web Page Editor then when you sign up you can either choose if you are or aren't. Also you should be able to change even you know you all ready signed up as an Armature you can chose to be a Pro. I Hope This Helped! --Wiiplay 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 31 2007, 6:51 AM EDT "If somehow Wetpaint could put the HTML in and we could choose to use it or not then that would still be Good. This is exactly what I was thinking. To be able to switch back and forth from WYSIWYG to HTML and back. Just to be able to use some of those abilities. At least until wetpaint can develop a way for eveyone to have those abilities without needing HTML. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
