The preview barely worked at all when I tried it a few weeks ago. I don't see myself using it even on release (I imagine other browsers will be even further ahead by then).

This is a more recent build...released just yesterday since they are releasing the fully-functional public beta next month. I edited this page using it and it looked alright. Also, it is definitely faster than Firefox now.

The IE8 beta was terrible if I remember correctly. It crashed with Wetpaint. I just tried the preview and its not as fast as Firefox, at least on my machine. But its only a preview so I would not expect it to be that fast.I just use Chrome with IEtab for Wetpaint. Maybe they will upgrade IEtab to IE9 soon =D Do you find this valuable? |

Why introduce a product that isn't even in Beta test mode. Even beta releases are for those that are willing to give feedback to the prospective company as to what works and what doesn't. On this forum it is like inviting everyone to upgrade their IE. And if their is a problem that is IE's fault, report back to Wetpaint they found a bug.Do you realize, that IE 8 was so buggy as DigitalX has stated, that Wetpaint doesn't even consider it when using the WYSIWYG editor? It renders everything as if it were IE-7. Do you find this valuable? |

It seems like the kind of thing that should be sent privately to famous technology people (xD) and developers. Do you find this valuable? |

I think it was to wow the users and it does seem to be at least 10x better than IE8.

My original point was that for the first time in a long time, I was able to get Internet Explorer to properly render the Easy Edit mode. Before, it was very glitchy and this time it was near-perfect. If it is faster than Firefox too, then I may start using the Public Beta instead of Firefox 4.0 beta.

Thanks for giving Internet Explorer 9 a try. For now, keep any bugs you find in mind and wait to see if Microsoft works them out. When Wetpaint lists Internet Explorer 9 as a supported browser, you may then report any bugs that remain to us. Kevin Do you find this valuable? |
