Why the 40 file attachment limit?

Why is there a limit of 40 file attachments, particularly on the paid for service, (which is not cheap compared to other wiki providers)? Do you find this valuable?

Because Wetpaint Servers can only handle so much data, which means that if every page on Wetpaint had 3,000 attachments, the servers would overload and break. Do you find this valuable?
