It is easy to change colors on a Wetpaint site. If you are intersted in changing colors in a thread, that is not a feature that Wetpaint has rolled out.

To change text colors, select the text, and then click on the drop down menu "Color" and then select from the present or make your own "Custom Color". Do you find this valuable?

Like Andrew said this is not currently a feature included in Wetpaint's Discussion platform.
