How can I move a thread into a different forum catagory?

You must have administrative power to do so, meaning you must be a moderator, adminsitrator, or the site's creator.

Go to the thread you are interested in moving, then select "Moderator Tools", and the first option is "Change Category", select this option and choose from a list of already created categories.

I tried that but a the bottom it just has Discussion Forum. I click on it and nothing happens. Do you find this valuable?

You might have to create a new category. What is the URL to your site? Do you find this valuable?

Well I see no reason why you should have a problem, let me reference you to a tutorial page, that should help you, if not, we will get the account wetpaint in there and see if they can move threads into different categories. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
