I made a form in Google Docs to use for my site, but when I paste the embed code into the "Other Widget" window, and sace the page, it brings this up:http://image.wetpaint.com/image/3/6mm5a3lfKKM5vedr1ki6cQ14379 Any way to get it to show up? Do you find this valuable? |

If that URL happens to be the URL for your Docstoc document, then perhaps you could do the following:Visit http://www.webmastersresort.com/iframe-generator/ This is a handy tool for creating Iframe compatible widgets. In the box that says Iframe URL, paste the URL that pops up when you try and look at your document. Fill out the other boxes with your desired settings, then click 'Generate Iframe'. Copy the code and try and use THAT for your widget. Do you find this valuable? |

The main problem seems to be that you uploaded your code, or whatever it is, as a file that Wetpaint reads as an image. If it was a document, then it should be simple, copy and paste the code in Notepad. Save the file as "name".html, and make sure teh file extenstion is "All Files". Save the document. Upload to the Wetpaint server. Copy the URL to the document, and then the code should be the following.<iframe src="URL-here" scrolling="true or false" width="" height=""></iframe"> Andrew Do you find this valuable? |

You're a bit late. Also, can you please not capitalise the 'W' in my name? That's not the original intention. I intended to make username that related to the main character of Scribblenauts, 'Maxwell'. Then, out of pure interest, I searched Maxwilly on Google. I'm not going to tell you the results as it'd probably be against the community guidelines...

Oh yes, and out of interest, what was the widget you were trying to use?

I've got the same problem as well, but even when I use the iFrame generator, it still says "This content can't be displayed in a frame".And can Wetpaint check on this? I've had a problem with Google Docs for a few months, because they don't work on Wetpaint anymore. They work on other sites (I tried one on a blog) and it works fine, just not Wetpaint. It isn't that hard to create your own forms, of course it is on Wetpaint because you aren't hosting it yourself. You could always use FormSpring.Com, that is a great site to create forms, you are limited, but it's not that bad.http://formspring.com/ Andrew Do you find this valuable? |

Okay, well if I find a way to work it out, I will let you know. I could always allow you to host on my site, that sounds like a good idea. I will work on creating a server for people to upload files to and then use on Wetpaint, I will let you know how that goes, that's a great idea, I am going to work on a site for Wetpaint work-arounds, widgets, and cool gadgets, yeah! That sounds cool. Andrew Do you find this valuable? |

Chris, here is what you need to do. Go to the Google doc you want to place on your wiki. Copy the URL address of the document. Replace the text "your url address" with the copied url. You may need to adjust the width and height to your needs. Here is the code.<iframe src="http://docs.google.com/gview?url=your url address&embedded=true" style="width:600px; height:500px;" frameborder="0"></iframe> 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Chrisco, there is a working example on my profile here. And just changing the url address in that code will be sufficient for any docs on Google. Do you find this valuable? |

Or, you could save your Google doc and use DocStoc instead, which is also compatible with Wetpaint. It's never failed me! There's also plenty of other services online that allow you to create form widgets, like widgetbox.
