DROPLETS STILL NOT WORKING

I try and use droplets on my wetpaint site. I click on 'Get this Droplet' and wait. and wait. and wait some more. Nothing happens. It just sits there saying it's 'loading' for all eternity. NO I don't have a private site, yes I use a compatible browser (Firefox 3.66) and Wetpaint said they'd fix it weeks ago. Why is it still not working? I really need these droplets.

P.S-Why don't you make them available as content modules too? That'd be great, they're very swanky.
Do you find this valuable?

We have a bug logged for this issue, but other bugs and features have taken priority over this one. I will remind the development team that we'd all like to have droplets working again, and hopefully we'll have it fixed soon.

"Ok thanks."
I talked to couple of people about this issue and it turns out that the third party provider that we were using decided to retire their services. Unfortunately, this means that Droplets are no longer accessible. We will be removing the droplets page from Wetpaint sites in order to avoid further confusion. Droplets that have already been added to pages will continue to work through the end of the year.

Similar to Droplets, you can use Content Modules to add dynamic content about your site: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/content%20modules
If you are tech savvy, you could even scrape the source HTML from a content module and place it on your blog or other site.

I already use the content modules quite a lot, but thanks any way. It's a shame droplets have to be removed :(

I agree. I integrate it to all my online courses. My students enjoy it very much on their iGoogle because they can monitor Wetpaint activities from iGoogle. Do you find this valuable?
