I can't edit my homepage

When ever I go to edit my homepage whatever was there before is deleted, leaving only what I added in it's place. Could this just be because I'm editing in tables? Well, I've always been able to edit it before. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone have an answer to why I have this problem?

A couple of other problems are that I can't make the page into 2 regions...also, when I add a content module to the page, after I save it, there is only a red "x" in the top left hand corner of the box. When I go back to try to add it for the millionth time there is "A&eSG" showing up where I was editing. Some real monkies in the machine. Help please!! N.B. Just noticed that you are working on the content module bug...any info on the other things, though? Do you find this valuable? |

I've just had another Main page I was working on go haywire...it won't allow the two tier screen...puts all the things on the right side of the page at the bottom of the page.
Do you find this valuable?

If you can give a link to your site... it would be helpful! People can check it out and give a helpful answer... Anyway... there is always the option to revert to earlier versions of a page http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Revert+or+Delete+Page+Version Also... with editing problems... you should check Browser and other requirements... http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Browser+Support Lots of editing problems are caused, because people don't have the right system requirements. * Do you find this valuable? |

"The two sites that I am referring to are: http://theborgias.wetpaint.com/ I made that Home page and edited it a million times, and never had anything like this before. http://www.dwts.org/ this page was done by jakefwp of wetpaint and I have edited this one many times as well. There are several other problems on the sites this weekend as well, and I can only conclude that I have not encountered them all. 1.When you edit something and save it, it goeas away if you press the easy edit button again. Where something used to be there is now "E&eSG" everywhere, and sometimes there is just nothing.. 2. when you add a content module, after it is saved you just see an empty box with a red x in the upper right hand corner. 3. It won't allow to do a split page anymore...all the things on the right side of the page go to the bottom of the page. 4. Another moderator on one of my sites says that she can't get the home page to unlock to do edits. In one of the other threads (I think it was Jeremy wetpaint) he said that there was a problem with ads that were added to the site. Just interested to know if anyone checks these ads for viruses and malware before they are added to sites that have no choice but to accept them. And yes, I realize that if I pay money I can have an add free site. But this is not the first time that somethiing like this has happened. Just wondering? Do you find this valuable? |
