above ^ its been bugging me for awhile sometimes i can and others i cant *sighs* Do you find this valuable?

If your using Firefox this is the only way I can get it to work, if your using Internet Explorer you probably could try the same thing, but I'm not positive it will work.

1. Highlight the word you wish to link (don't link it yet), change it to the auto text color to start. After which unhighlight the word by clicking next to it.
2. Highlight the word again, but this time select the color that you wish to use (green, red, orange, etc.). Once again unhighlight.
3. For the third and last time highlight your word and add your link.

This method works for me everytime, if you try to do it all at once without ever unhighlighting it doesn't usually work.
