Editing my profile + tables

Is there any way to make a table with several columns and rows, and write OVER the lines of the table ( i want my profile to have a checkerboard "background" using a table, so it has small black and white suares that i want to write over, but not sure how...)

No, you can not do this at the moment.

Although wetpaint does not allow you to do this at this time. Take a look at my profile here on this site and you will see what you want to do. Read through the instructions to learn how to add a background to your tables.
