Inbox Problem

Beside My Profile page it says Inbox (1) But There is none how could it happen? Do you find this valuable?

icepaw99: That happens to me too. It did it earlier, except it said Inbox (2) and I didn't have any messages 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Check to see if you have any friend requests or pending compliments on your profile page, as those will show up in the inbox indicator too. Do you find this valuable?

Then you need to go to your Inbox section and look for anything near the top that says: Update your email. Click on that and change your email to a VALID email, and it should make it disapear. Do you find this valuable?

my inbox says that is has 3 messages in it. before it said two and there wasn't anything, now it says I need to be logged in to view my messages. i can access every other part of my account just fine but every time I go to inbox it says I need to log in, but I am logged in :/ this has been happening for a good while now (a few weeks) and its only on the one site. Several other users are experiencing the same inability to view their messages. Do you find this valuable?

Try clearing your cache and cookies as shown how to do on this page:

Also, check and look for what I posted above.
Another also is that it may be due to these recent bugs that you see that you have/had 3 things in your inbox when before it said only two. THis is caused by you landing on one of the 2 servers that went bad and have failed to update themselves. Ignore it and next week, all problems should be fixed, or so I hear. :-)
