The only thing I can think of is to check whether one of your widgets causes these problems...?
Try removing the widgets one by one.... till you find out which one did it...
Or create a test page...
and add the widgets of your home page... one by one... to test which one causes the problem...

I actually did just that. I didn't test it on the actuall page because that page is not one I wan't to mess up. So I made another page some where else for this. It was for something else but didn't matter. I pasted it all on that page, it did the same thing. So I tryed to mess around deleting things on by one, (widgets first such as moduels) and it wasn't that. I checked if it was the tables, it wasn't. I did this for a while but to no avail. Once there was nothing else to erase I saved to see if the page would at least go back to normal size when in editing mode. I pressed easy edit again and the box was not huge, it was really small, so now I can not edit the entire page at all. And again I did this on a seperate page. Do you find this valuable?

Then try to rebuild it all on that test page...
Test if the page still works correct...
Go into EasyEdit again >
Select All... > copy > quit without saving... >
Go to your home page > Select All > Delete...
> then paste your copied content into the home page > save

You can't mess it up...
You can always revert the page to an earlier version...

Let's address your problems.
1. Horizontal scroll. If you click on updates., this will take you to a page that only has one element that you created on that page and the rest was created by WP. You will see that page also has a horizontal scroll. This is being caused by your Banner. It is too wide.
2. The vertical spasm while in easy/edit mode, is caused by two things. The way Internet Explorer deals with WP's easy editor and intricate pages. An intricate page is one that contains tables and widgets. Pages like that can be dealt with better using FireFox.
3. Always let the page fully load before hitting the EasyEdit button. This can be monitored by watching the progress bar. It will say done, when the page is fully loaded. IE will also let you know if there are errors on the page in the same area.
4. If an element has an error embedded in it, chances are when it is copied, the error will be copied too.

How to fix you home page?
1. resize your banner to remove the horizontal scroll.
2. You had a great idea, by copying from to home page to a new page. Do that again, but copy one element at a time and save the new page. If the problem re-occurs after saving, you will know it was the last element added and you can reconstruct that element.
3. resize your audio widget and some of your line graphics

Go to your 'File' on browser page and click Full Page, you will then find it changes so you can see everything. I wish I could find EasyEdit as easily Do you find this valuable?
