Accepting an Invitation

OK, I'll bite....
All,

This morning I sent out invitations to friends/classmates regarding joining the Classical 1965 website.
http://classical1965.wetpaint.com

I've heard back from them that the information they see when clicking on the Accept Invitation option in the email is "confusing at best".
I know I was confused when I tried to accept my own invitation and saw the following

Classical Class of 1965 is a private site.

Looks like an "endless loop" to me. Anyone have any ideas on why they can't join when they get to the site?

Well, invitations were discontinued, billgoco. What you should do is give everyone that you would like to invite a time when you will open the site. Then, at that time, set it to public. Have your members join, and then close the site up again. If any unwanted members join, either ask them to leave plitely, or ban them (This can be done with the change permissions button on their profiles if you are a mmoderator or above.).
Hope this helps you out!
