1. RE: Add an attachment to a thread?

"Can this be done - I searched the FAQ - but didn't find an answer to this"An attachment cannot be directly added to a thread. It has to be added to a page. But you can reference the attachment in a thread by adding a link to the attachment. This can be done by uploading the attachment to a page, then right clicking on the attachment file name. This will give you the opportunity to copy the link address of the attachment. That link (URL) can be pasted into a thread as the reference. Unfortunately the link is not clickable in the thread. It would have to copied and pasted into the browser window by the reader. Do you find this valuable? |

There is a work-around for this which will make all text links hyperlinks. It requires an add-on to be placed in the browser. Please see this page on my Wiki Splats2. http://splats2.wetpaint.com/page/Making+All+Links+Clickable Do you find this valuable? |

The add-ons mentioned above would require the viewer to have the add-on installed on their browser. So it is quite useless. Sorry. Your boss would not like this either.Do you find this valuable? |
