"DO YOU ONLY HAVE TO BE A WPC MOD TO IP BAN? I TRIED IT ON MY SITE AND IT DIDN'T WORK."First off, please do not use all caps. It's considered yelling. Secondly, if a member on your site posts Anonymously and you're Mod, Admin, or Creator, you can see their I.P. If they brake your rules, or whatever, you can ban them. Now, if they don't post/edit Anonymously, and you want them I.P Banned, you will need to ask Jeremy to do so. Only wetpaint workers can ip off wetpaint central.

Am i missing something ? because i cant see a isp other than in the site meter and I thought you had to join to post> so how can a user be anonymous?

Oh I have just noticed i wasent signed in so my own post is anoyn!! so is this just for wetpaint central ? As my site does not allow anonymous posts as far I know.

Only anonymous user's IP addresses will be seen by moderators in up. The word anonymous that normally appears next to the post will be replaced with the IP address. A moderator or up cannot IP ban a user that is signed in. (It is avaliable for ALL Wetpaint sites.) Do you find this valuable? |

As my site does not allow anonymous posts as far I know."You need to change your settings. if your settings for posting discussions and/or editing pages are set to 'anyone, even anoyomously' then people may post anoyomous threads and you MAY IP ban them.
