The reasons I will be leaving wetpaint

I now have two reasons to leave your site. First, you are including more advertisements that are not appropriate for educational settings even with adults and second, and most importantly you are forcing me to open my site to the public so that my students can join. I am sure it takes a lot of code to support the invitation to private sites, but that is part of what a developer does. So let your advertisers know that your lack of initiative has removed me and all of my past and current students from wetpaint. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

We are sorry you feel that way. I don't really see any inappropiate ads. But for education, some of them might be. But, I really don't think it is that hard for you to open your site to the public for your members to join, and then make it private again.

If you get any unwanted members, just ban them.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm sorry that the system has not pleased you, but I hope you will give them a second chance in the future, or simply put a note on the suggestions page.

Thank you for your feedback. Wetpaint appreciates your feedback greatly.

Since Wetpaint provides a free service to everyone, they can not please everyone without spending loads of money.

Putting attractive women in advertisements is a famous marketing measure, as it attracts many men to look at the ad. Wetpaint is gaining the necessary money to run their servers by putting ads.

It takes lots of time and money and employees to be able to support private wikis.

Thanks for your input. I'm sorry you feel this way and that you have to leave this great wiki service.

The code is not the REAL reason they stopped support for Invites for Private sites. It is a reason, but, it isn't the MAIN reason why.
