A Very Annoying And Unavoidable GLITCH

There is a glitch that I, and another member, have been experiencing on a few pages on our sites. When we try to edit the page, only a small section of the pages is editable and the rest is in the grey area of the edit screen. The content in the grey isn't lost when I save the page, but it is uneditable no matter what I try. The pages aren't overly long or wide, so I can't think of that as a reason. We have experienced this on two sites so far, can you please explain or help fix it for us? I can show you exactly which pages I'm talking about too if needed... Do you find this valuable?

Do the pages in question have 2 layout zones on them. If so two layout zones get confused at times and will push content to a place where it can't be edited. Try selecting a single zone. The information in the 2nd zone will be lost unfortunately but it will allow you to edit those pages. I personally do not use the layout zone feature due to that glitch. I prefer to use a table with two columns. Doing so, allows me to adjust the width of the columns to fit the need of my page.

If your are not employing layout zones, go to the bottom of the page and select Complete History and find a version of the page that does not demonstrate the problem and revert to the revision. This requires a moderator or above permission.
Here is a page for more information on reverting to a previous revision.

One of the pages where I have encountered the problem had a layout zone, but the content was pushed out of place from both sections, and not just the side layout zone. I may try to use tables more often.
And that rises a question... are Layout zones going to disappear with the coming of the new Wetpaint layout? (like the way this site is set to a fixed page?)
And the other pages did not have layout zones, so I will try to see if going to a version in the history will help...I hope so. Any way, thank you for your help, I did not think of doing that.
