No Ads for Libraries
Jan 28 2010, 8:22 PM EST
I agree that the nature of the advertising that is now infesting the site is inappropriate. Perhaps you would consider offering a discount to educators/educational non-profits like libraries who are concerned with maintaining commercial free content.Or, maybe you would agree to a discount for an upfront one year payment in full?Look forward to your reply. Do you find this valuable?

Right now, and for a while, everyone will pay the $19.95 a month, both non-educators and educators, to have ads removed. -Alex Do you find this valuable? |

The ads are a pain, especially for educators and other educational websites. However, there is a solution to this. My school computers use a program called Ad Block Plus. This program will block all advertisements on Wetpaint, and any other site. So, my suggestion would be having the computers in the library or school download Ad Block Plus. This way, on those computers, the ads will not be shown. http://adblockplus.org/en/ Do you find this valuable? |
