Much of what they say is simply untrue, exaggerated (by a factor 20) and even where they may have a point, they are not having a fair comparison. You can't compare apples and pears, nor can you compare a piece of software (let's assume they mean MediaWiki, if they don't they are even comparing a service with a type of program, which makes even less sense) with a service. If there was someone tro provide a service based on MediaWiki, then you would have something to compare to... And probably then installing won't be more than a few clicks either. On top of that, you can host your own MediaWiki if you want to spend half an hour installing (36 hours? That guy must have been typing with his tongue or something) which you cannot do with wetpaint."
