Gabbly Chat Fritzed?

Is something wrong with the Gabbly Chat? It isn't working on my website. I redid it, but it still won't work. I know I have been 'absent' from here for quite some time, so if I am missing something, sorry. I can't seem to get onto gabbly.com either. Thanks!

Well, I don't mean to be rude at all, I am sorry you are having this problem, but it sounds like this is on Gabbly's end of the string, you can try to contact them.You could also try a new chat provider, Meebo Chat which is also an option and is supported by Wetpaint. http://meebo.com/ Do you find this valuable? |

Thank you! I just tried going to their website again and all I get is that dreaded black/white "Network Timeout" box. It's Saturday, maybe they are overloaded.The Meebo chat.... if I use that will only members on my site show up on it, or will it have people from all over Wetpaint on it? That will be fine on one of my sites, but on the other one I will need one that only has site members on it. Do you find this valuable? |

I found on here where CryingDove, awhile back, suggested using the Chatango chat. I looked it up, then set it up and now have one on two different sites. So far I LOVE it much better than the Gabbly chat! It has so much more customizing options and, for where I am using it, I really like being able to ban words. Plus, it is working well today on a "high traffic" Internet day.

It is up to the individual needs of the wiki and the functionality of the Chat widget.
