Private invitations

I have invited people to my private site but when they get the invitation and open the invite site it takes them to the wiki page but it doesn't give them any boxes to fill out to register on the site. Before it would give them places where they could register, but now there is nothing and it says "contact the person who reffered you to the site and request an invitation." Can anyone help? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Invites for Private Sites were dropped months ago. To let someone join your site, you must go to Setting and click on Permissions and make it public, wait until they join, then make it Private again.

It was dropped due to many bugs in it and the people who made the ads didn't know how much traffic their sites got, so, they couldn't get paid correctly.
Also, what would happen if a site for abortions had a Pampers ad on there? Know what I am saying?
