16 Million Crayons

16 Million crayons are what Wetpaint is giving you with Custom ColorsSelect Custom under your color tool in EasyEdit mode A Color Selector Window will appear. There is a window to enter a six-digit hexadecimal representation of color of the form #RRGGBB, where RR, GG, and BB are the hexadecimal values for the red, green, and blue values of the color. Hex Values, unlike the decimal system, which uses numbers 0 though 9 for ten different values, the hexidecimal system uses 0 through F for sixteen different values 0123456789ABCDEF For example, with the six-digit hexadecimal color code, you could use any one of 16,777,216 values for a color. Use the color wiper in the Select Color window to select the range in a color. Click inside the pane of that color and notice the box after the # sign, this is the Hex value of the selected color. This value can be very useful to when matching up colors on your page. If you are using a program that has an "eye dropper" tool, the eye dropper will give the hex value of any color of an element that is clicked with the dropper. Enter that code into the Select Color Hex window to match the color given by the eye dropper. There are several free color grabbing tools on the internet. I prefer a program "Colour Spy". Have fun. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
