"When I click on the Easy Edit button at the top of the page, only half of the page becomes editable. How do I get to the rest of the page?"Make sure you're using a supported browser, and it's newest version. Supported Browsers: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Browser+Support -Alex, WPC RU. Ok, I've looked around, and I wonder whether it's some embedded code in something that I pasted onto the wiki? Might that prevent me from editing a section of the page?

Sometimes this will happen when you are using layout zones. The only way I know how to get out of this situation is to go to a single zone. You will lose the information in the second zone, but it will allow you to edit the page. If this is not the case for you, try reverting back to a previous version of the page. To do this, please read this instructions on this page. http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Delete+Page 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

sometimes an over-excess of widgets or .gif images will cause a page to lag. once you have a change, delete any excessive ones, or unused ones.Spanier, WPC Com. Mod. Do you find this valuable? |

Some of the pages on the TB Wiki get overly large with widgets, tables, etc. With Vista, the page can then lead to a browser crash and/or blue screen of death (because a special little program in Vista called DEP).Be sure you save the exact page as a bookmark, exit out of browser, dump cache, temp files, history, cookies etc. (basically everything). Even restart your computer if you think other 'lingering' programs are still running since your last start. Now try going back to the exact page for edit. Bodi Do you find this valuable? |
