Loosing my site, loosing my mind…

There are a few people who are complaining that their site is out-of-control, with hundreds of pages getting created overnight (or worse).
There is a simple solution- Change the settings. Just under the banner is the word “Settings.” Click that.
There should be several “tas” that read Communications, Templates, Name & Logo, Styles, Statistics, Permissions, Backup, and Upgrades. Click “Permissions.” Clcik on the button abou mid-page that says “I want to edit these settings.” Now you can set the two most critical settings, who can view and edit pages and who can post in the discussions. Under “Who should be able to edit this website?” (the second set of choices) click “Only people I promote to Writers” (the third option, it has an envelop with a key over it;

Now only those you approve can create or edit pages on your site. After this, a button should appear on your site (every page) in place of the “Easy Edit” button for Registered Users and Anonymous viewers will be the “Apply To Be A Writer” button. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
