Uploading from ubuntu linux picture folder?

How can I upload pictures from "ubuntu version 9.10" - the "browse" button is greyed out - I have installed the latest version of Flash from Adobe - although had problem installing it..

any help appreciated.

You may find the answer to your problem at these sites.
1. How to uninstall Flash. (It is best to do this, since there were problems on the install)

2. Go to this page for information on installation of flash

Hope this information gets flash player to install on your system. The required version of Adobe Flash for many sites including this one is version 10.

Thanks for the advice CD, the problem has been solved, I am now able to upload pictures to my website: www.plmac.org
