Banned from my own (co-owned) site.
Nov 20 2009, 9:26 PM EST | Post edited: Nov 20 2009, 9:26 PM EST
I've just been banned from my own site. I have an idea why though...
See, I swore in a roleplay thread. Could this have caused me to be banned? The thread was deleted as well.
If anyone could do something for me so I won't have to wait for my admin friends to come on in order to be re-authorized on the site.
The URL is http://warriorcatsheaven.wetpaint.com
Thanks in advance for everything!

You'll have to wait un-till your friends un-ban you since it is the weekend and Jeremy isn't on 'till Monday, and none of the Mods here have the power to do anything.

Sounds like you have a rouge Admin on your site.

I don't think any virus could keep banning you, or ban you at all from a site...

No. A Moderator on your wiki had to have banned you.

I know how you feel. The best thing to do is to find out who banned you, then make them a Registered User so they can never ban you again. And we are 100% sure that no known virus can ban you from the site. So just wait until you are unbanned again, then ban the person who banned you ASAP. If you have anymore problems, Jeremy Wetpaint will answer you on Monday. Thank you for reading. Do you find this valuable?

An I'm sorry about all the anonymous postings, I've been trying to do anything to get back on. Oh and you're right, it's not a virus. I'm on my sister's iTouch. Do you find this valuable?

Well, maybe the site is shutting down if it just became private out of no-where.

DerCat, banning someone who banned you is not a good solution to a disagreement. If you were banned, you were likely banned for a reason. Contact an administrator or moderator to hear the reason why you were banned. Do you find this valuable?

Pretty sure that they would tell me about it, and there's no reason for it to shut down! It's pretty darn active, and my friend had made me an admin again before I was banned for the second time...

Well, try contacting your friend on another site and ask them to Demote who banned you to a Registered User, Writer, or, below your rank: Moderator, then, ask your friend to un-ban you, and you tell the person who banned you NOT to ban you again.

If you can't contact your friend on another site, you'll need to wait until Jeremy gets back on on Monday.

eh but the problem is, I don't know who banned me! It doesn't show up on the community activity update page and I have no idea how to find out. Oh and its just that site that won't let me sign in now... come to think of it, I have no idea why I'm not signed in now. Well thank you so much for your help and if I can't get a hold of anyone, I've already sent Jeremy a message. You've been so patient with my complaining :) It's great that Wetpaint has people like you here! Do you find this valuable?

Jeremy will be able to know who banned you. Good luck. Do you find this valuable?
