I'm guessing it was removed in the update from a couple of days ago. I used the feature every so often myself, I too am curious on why it was removed.
Do you find this valuable?

if you want it as a page, just slect the replies, then press copy, then make a new page and press paste. I personally thought it was useless.

OK, Wetpaint, I will make you a deal. I will give up background images, anchor linking, and html features for the "Save Thread To Page" feature being restored.Splats2 only has one other contributor to my wiki - Jivanda and the page tips for saving threads and profiles provided by Jivanda are extremely useful. OK? Do we have a deal? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Guys, Jeremy just informed me about why this happened. Apparently it was removed because they are in the process of cleaning out any rarely used features in order to simplify the code as much as possible. That makes it easier for Wetpaint to put out new features faster.Just letting youl know. -Alex 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I would have appreciated it... if these changes, removing features, would have been communicated beforehand. F.i. the ToDo feature has also been removed for the same reason. If we would have known in advance... we could have made arrangements for that...Copying all the ToDo's and save them on a ToDo page !!! Would have saved us a lot of trouble... Now we don't have anything left... and have to start all over... Also we didn't have to start threads like this one... about it... thinking it is a bug in Wetpaint... So... in future... can you just give us all a note? At least the creators and admins of Wetpaint wikis ? Before removing features? Thanks for your understanding, Jivanda Do you find this valuable? |
