Help! A reference name keeps changing to ******* but it's a legit name

I'm adding a reference to one of our articles on the wiki site, the author's name is Y.a.m.a.s.h.i.t.o (without the periods) but his name kept changing to ********* after we publish the page!!! What's going on, it's not an illegal name is it??? Do you find this valuable?

The word filter is blocking the name due to the four letter combination at the end of the name. Use this character in the name and it will not be filtered nor will it distract from the name. "ı" This is a Latin dotless "i" taken from the character map of Windows.

Hope this helps.

This censor has gone to far. now if the name contains something considered bad the name gets censored. they better remove this. Do you find this valuable?

I pasted an article about doctors without borders into a page and the filter removed the name of the African country N i g e r. Do you find this valuable?

Thank you for your help, I agree this is totally ridiculous, what if I wanted to add a name that cannot be substituted by another character?

Sorry, If I told you how to use the "character map" in windows "Start button" "Programs" under "Accessories", "System tools" to select many different characters. I am afraid that information would be used to bypass the word filter and I don't want to tell you that. Hope you understand.

Yes, I agree. This is a little to far. Maybe there can be a list of words to censor, and a list of words not to censor. The administrators should be able to change this. I will suggest this idea. Do you find this valuable?
