Couple Suggestions.

If this isn't in the right place sorry but I once again have thought of a couple suggestions that would help and support the site.IP Ban -- Let's say you ban a negative/rule breaking member on the site but they just make another user and cause much drama and they keep doing this.. I think it should be possible for the creator/admins to IP Ban an account and once that account is banned, the same IP address wouldn't be joinable on that site. This would lessen a lot of the drama. Signatures - I also think it should be possible for users to add signatures to their posts! Going back to a pre idea of mine, sending negative users infractions could help. Do you find this valuable? |

Suggestions with features of that similar to a standard forum. Don't get me wrong I like the ideas honestly.1. IP Banning is possible, but only moderators and administrators have the ability to preform such an action, and for the action to be possible users need to be anonymous. The ability to IP ban regular users would really save a lot of trouble in my opinion, the number of people who complain about trolling on their sites would be cut down, it would allow you to compare two users who you may think are the same person based on their IP address, etc. Of course there is always the negatives, such as this power being abused on certain sites or something along those lines. 2. I've stated before that I do not believe that the thread space provided on Wetpaint can provide enough room to allow signatures to be added. Users with really long signatures could end up stretching the page, and images that are tall will stretch the page by a lot. 3. Sending users infractions is an idea that I like. Honestly with so much going on in my life I sometimes forget to unban users who were only meant to be banned for a short period of time. An infraction system would allow users to be banned based on a number of points (which is basically what I do on my wiki), the bans of course would be automatic, and the user would be unbanned after the time period is up. Do you find this valuable? |

IP Banning would be useful. I have a person on my site that was banned and she keeps making new accounts.I don't think signatures would be a bad idea... as long as they had limitations.. For example.. only 200X400pixel images can be uploaded for a signature. Do you find this valuable? |

As for the pic as the sig, the threads wouldn't be able to handle the pics, I believe, is what has been said about pictures in threads. Do you find this valuable? |
