Having Trouble with editing

When I try to edit one of my pages and after I try to save it, I get this: "We are sorry, an error occurred. If this problem persists, please reload the page and try again." Can you please tell me why it is doing this? I have no problem with editing any of my other pages. Thank you for your time. SweetPea422 (Shirl) Do you find this valuable? |

It happens, a lot of the time you can just ignore it.Try saving it on a different browser from the one you are using. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It happens a lot of the time and just ignore it, ?? I'm sorry, but What kind of help is that, I mean I do not mean to be rude or anything, but I want to edit the page not ignore it. and the Browser I am using is Firefox, I do not like using IE. for many reasons, but the first one would be that it is too slow for me. There has to be a reason why I can not edit that page, I came here to find some help on what might be wrong and how I can fix the problem. It doesn't let me save it when I try to edit on that page. After I click save this is what I get: "We are sorry, an error occurred. If this problem persists, please reload the page and try again." Now, I have reloaded it many times, I even turned off my computer, There is nothing wrong with anything else, I have no problem with editing any of my other pages. I also checked to see if I have the page locked, and I do not have it locked, Now is there something else I should try or possibly look for in trying to fix this problem? Hi Shirl, Your page may have a bad element on it, causing the error condition. You may want to revert to a previous version of the page. I should add this statement about how bad elements get onto a page. This occurs when the page is easy edited before the page is completely loaded. When a page is loaded, it references all the URLs for the graphics, images and widgets. If a page is not fully loaded some of those elements get stranded. This will create an error condition when trying to save the page.So, in reference to the previous reply which stated it happens all the time, is correct. Sometimes the human is much faster than the computer. The progress bar at the bottom of the browser screen will show you when the page is fully loaded. It will disappear when the load is complete. If one lets the page load completely, this problem will not occur. This should shed some light on what you and others may have experienced. Do you find this valuable? |
