Ability to add pdf similar to image

Many new users seem to want to add other file types of content to the middle of their pages - not just as attachments.

Would it be possible for future feature to allow a pdf to be uploaded in a similar way to an image file?

There could be restriction on file size. Only the first page need display. (Anyone who wanted more to display could use widgets that allow that anyway.)

This would allow people to be able to have better quality replications than just "images" of documents from other programs - and still be a neat self contained file without all the code that may be a hassle for Wetpaint coding. Do you find this valuable?

There is a simple way to display PDF files on your page. This can be done via an attachment and widget combination. For more detailed instructions and a demo pdf file on a page copy and paste this address into your browser's address bar.

I would love to be able to add a document in the content of my pages rather than as an attachment and I understand about widgets but would like to not have to use/sign up with another website but wish we could have a simple click and download of the pdf. Do you find this valuable?

The instructions on the link I posted shows you how to put a pdf file right on your page. Not only will the pdf file be displayed as content of your page, but users can download the file also, with one simple click. Perhaps you never went to the page to see the instructions. Do you find this valuable?
