any way to change the site name?

not just a particular page, but my entire site. the current one is no longer appropriate. Do you find this valuable?

Yes there is =)

First go to 'Settings' and click on 'Name & Logo.

The first box you see on that page will say Site Name and you type in what you want your sites new name to be.

Don't forget to save your changes! I learned that the hard way xD

Then your site name should be changed =)
