Future Layout: How to access navigation?

How will we be able to access the navigation bar to the left? The bar that lists: Home, Help, Wetpaint Community, Tips for a successful site, etc.? Do you find this valuable?

The page navigation menu will be on the right side of the wiki. Do you find this valuable?
