Invitations sent and accepted, but no new members

I have invited people to my site, and they have seen my invitations and accepted them. It has been a couple of days now, and they are still not showing up as new members. Is there a setting that I need to change from the default in order to see members or allow them access? Has anyone else run into this? Do you find this valuable?

If your site is a private site, you can't invite them anymore. In fact, I don't think you can invite on Wetpaint period since last night's update. Do you find this valuable?

The 'Invite Others' option still exists, but it's under the 'Members' section. Chrisco97 is correct in that invitations for private sites are no longer supported. Do you find this valuable?

I currently have a private site which I want to use for a college class. How do I change it to a public site so I can invite students? Do you find this valuable?

Basically follow the instructions on the page below, but select "Everyone" rather than "Members Only". After all of your new members have joined, you can make your site private again by following the same steps.

Go to ' Settings '. Click ' Permissions ' and choose Public.

After they have joined, you can make it private again.
