Un-member myself from a site

I accidentally joined a group and don't know how.
Do I delete membership on that site?
Will that delete my membership on the two sites that I am a moderator?

Go to your profile and click: ' Cancel membership ' and you will no longer be a member of the site. Also, it will not effect your other sites.

If you go to your profile page and by your username it will say. 'cancel membership'. Click on that, and you no longer will be a member on this site.
