Future page layout

The question still remains...What happens if you have nothing in the right rail? Will it be pushed aside by bigger content in the main rail, or will it just appear as a blank space. I want this question answered by a Wetpaint employee, not by a registered user. Do you find this valuable? |

Because if not, I may, instead of having to create new tables, just move one picture into the right rail, since each image is 298 wide. But then I would need to wait for the actual update to occur. Do you find this valuable? |

Are we having a discussion with ourselves in this thread. There are a lot of questions that can be asked here. I am not sure if this is a private thread or not. Can regular users ask questions too or should we start our own thread, instead.

I want to know if there is going to be a blank space where that right rail is, or if the content that is too big in the main rail will push into the right rail. This is a legitimate question, because if the first bit is true, then every single page is going to have a blank space. I said only Wetpaint employees because I want an Official answer, not a guess, estimation or theory. Do you find this valuable? |

And I asked if regular users could piggy back on this thread for similar type of questions that you may have. Like:1. Will that right rail be optional, similar to the two zone layout we have now? 2.. What will happen with a two zone layout on pages existing now. Will the new right rail create a third zone on a page? 3. What will happen to Templates that exist right now. The three photo template is surely going to be too large for the new layout. 4. Where will the navigational menu be placed. 5. How about ads? How many will be placed on a page and where will they be placed? 6. Will the site banner be effected and how? There are many questions that have arisen since the official posting of the dimensions of the new page layout, first came onto this forum by Jeremy_wetpaint.. Your questions is one of many. And after the new format comes into being, I would imagine there will be more. I will wait for an official, official release of the mathematics of the layout, so I can continue planning what structure my new pages will have to adhere. Do you find this valuable? |

I never said RUs couldn't ask other questions, I merely stated that the only answer should be posted by someone who works for Wetpaint.
