Help retrieving username and password

I have set up a Wetpaint site for a group of people who do not know much about Wetpaint. I told one of them (who is not in the same state as me) how to set up an account and he messed it up. He filled out the form and then got scared that the page was unsecure and x'ed out of it. So now, when he goes to create an account, the page says there is already an account with that e-mail. I have asked him if he knows his username and password that he put on the form and he doesn't know. He said he "cancelled" the registration, but I think it must have went through. I sent him a password reset e-mail hoping he coudl at least get some information about what his username and passowrd are form that, but he said it is too confusing and he didn't reset hte password. Is there any way I can get his username and password or any way somethign coudl eb sent to him./ He doesn't have a clue what he is doing on the site and has never used it before, and I cannot really help him from another state since I do not have access to his e-mail account to walk him through the password reset process, so any help would be appreciated! Do you find this valuable?

Resetting your password is straight forward. Tell him to open the password reset email. There will be a piece of text that says, "To reset your password, please follow this link." Ask him to click on that link, and it will take him to your site and let him change his password. Do you find this valuable?

You would think ti would be easy. I know it is straight forward, but he doesn't understand it. Do you know if it is possible that it registered his e-mail without him typing in a username and password? Do you find this valuable?
