Java Support/Suggestion for custom backgrounds.

1. Java and full Embed support is badly needed and hasnt even been on the poll since 2006
enabling this would allow for nearly every widget ever made to be usable as well as things like chat rooms and music players. sites would improve ten fold from this feature.
2. Youtube's channel backgrounds are a simple image upload system that tiles/stretches your chosen image to fit the channel. for custom backgrounds simply use the same idea. Do you find this valuable?
