My Students Can't Accept Invites!

When my students try to accept their invite to join our class website they are directed to the normal login page, not the one that allows them to create a new account as a new member. What can I do? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

In the latest release, Wetpaint has gotten rid of the invite feature. I do not think Wetpaint has any intentions in bringing it, but you never know. Currently, I do not see any reason why you cannot make your site un-private. To make a site public, you go to settings, permissions, and change to public. As SOON as the members that you want on your site join, you can make the site private again. If members that you do not want on your site come, you can easily ban them. It is not a bug, the invite feature for private sites was removed in the last release. Do you find this valuable?

If your website is a private site, that is to be expected. Have them go to a separate site, create an account, and then accept the invites. That way, they will be able to utilize the log-in screen.

Hope this bails you out!
