I sent more invites out to join my private site but when the new users login, they only see the Member Login screen again. And they can't login again or progress to the site. I logged in as administrator and they aren't showing in my list to where I can change their rights. Do you find this valuable?

Users are not able to join a private site by invitation at this time. The solution is to change your site permissions so that it is not private and invited members will then be able to join. Once the members have joined you can change the site back to private.
