Invitations

otdait. wetpaint is a private wiki. I noticed today when sent an invitation that I can no longer set the level of the new member and I also cannot see who I invited previously. This is a wiki for certain government employees who happen to have many alias email addresses. If they forget their password, they don't necessarily know which email address I used to invite them so this creates a problem. I don't see anything in the release notes about these changes.

I was trying to find out which email address I had used and couldn't find it (and which members had been able to get in before the bug). I also have a private wiki and cannot see who invites were sent to, nor do I have the option of setting the access level. Many of the invitations that were sent cannot be accepted by the individual and they keep getting a message indicating the site is private. This issue needs to be fixed quickly!!! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Wetpaint is expreiencing some issues with the invite system. Wetpaint is currently working on fixing this problem. There is only one current way to get people on private sites. The creator or administrator of the site must turn the site un-private, and then, tell the users they want on the site the URL. Once they join the site, you can make it private again. We've already given the answer. You can't get new members unless the site is not private. And you can not see who you have invited previously. Wetpaint hopes to get it fixed. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I have the same problem too. As administrator for a this wiki for a school, it's very secure to see who is invited and what is the level of permission. I can't see anymore the previous people invited. It's good to have it backThank you Do you find this valuable? |

Please, Wetpaint is not crap, neither did they stop carrying the feature, they are having problems with it. Please be patient why they get it fixed.
