Requesting an Invite for a private site

I have not been able to receive an invitation email for a few days and I was wondering if I could request the invitation by visiting the private website?
If so how can I do this?

There is not a request feature built into the private site homepage. If you know the site creator (or administrator), send them an email message letting them know about the problem. You may want to have them send you an invitation to an alternate email address. It sounds like something is blocking the invite from being delivered on your end. Do you find this valuable?
