How to get General Discussions to show again?

Hello,

Deleting all categories except "General Discussions", I expected that clicking the TOP-PAGE nav bar "Discussions" link might once again list the threads found within G.D., but alas, that's not the case. Any way to get that neat preview back, without making users click "All Threads" tab from the category menu?

The top nav Discussions button is linked to the forum page as shown in the example for Wetpaint's forum discussions.

The General Discussions has a separate link

http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/forum/General+Discussion

You can create your own button and place them on pages. All that is needed is to right-click on the General Discussions title and copy the link and link it to your button. Clicking the button will bring the user directly to the General Discussions forum.

Otherwise maneuvering is a two-click operation. Discussions and select forum. or All Threads. Do you find this valuable?

Thank you. Can I modify the buttons as a moderator, or do I have to explain it step by step to the administrator? Do you find this valuable?

Now you can not modify the mod buttons! If you want to then they have to be a admon@ Do you find this valuable?

You can create you own button but puting some text on your page and linking that text to the General Discussions page. You cannot modify the navigational tool bar buttons.. Do you find this valuable?

OK, OK. Let me start over.

A week or so ago, someone added a second category. Now, when I click on DISCUSSIONS from the main nav bar, pertinent threads are no longer previewed. All users have to click "All Threads" now, to see the normal, useful previews. Adding another button is a little useless, as they'd have to get to the discussion area first before they'd see the new button (at which point they can just click "All Threads" anyhow.) The 15 second delay for each click makes this an actual significant problem.

So, is there any way to restore how it worked a week or two ago? Do you find this valuable?

Me personally, I can bookmark that. But new visitors can't. Seems like a pretty fundamental correction is needed to the nav bar "discussions" link. Do you find this valuable?
